n teachers assistant, when we moved out here to az city az I thought I would try something a little different, as I wear my heart on my sleeve, and took up bartending. I love my new career, it gives me time to think about others instead of myself.
When I was pregnant in 2004 I was diagnosed with uterine cancer, and just could not believe what was happening, I was 32 years old at the time and just had my precious twins. I was really down in the dumps. Once I finished my chemo as an inpatient at the hospital, my whole attitude changed. I had my wonderful family and we quickly got things back to normal. In June of 06 I was diagnosed with stage 3c ovca. That hurt, it was a slap in the face. Around the same time I came to terms that my baby Dustin was autistic. When I went into surgery the second time I thought to myself that I am doing this for my Dusty, and did it i did. My last reoccurance didnt hurt me quite as bad as the initail and the first reoccurance. I cried and cried somemore and then I came to terms with the fact that i have ovca. I found out today that I more than likely have a secondary leukemia on top of that, and yes...I pouted for awhile, then looked at my family and was ready to fight. My life doesnt revolve around my cancer, most of the people I know including my boss doesnt even have the slightest clue, and I would like to keep it that way. In my free time, I love to read books about anything and every thing. I dont watch alot of tv anymore. I am not too used to writing about me, so i will keep this short and sweet [Less]
