[More]es. She is college educated, kind, caring, and an accomplished professional. I taught her the value of integrity.
A few years back she was in a car accident. She was prescribed pain meds. They worked for a time, then as with those with addictive propensities (genetic) she built a tolerance for them. Doctors prescribed stronger meds... then Oxy. As with most addicted to opiates, you rarely ever see it coming. Your brain chemistry changes over time and you end up in a constant state of perpetual withdrawal. How horrible and confusing to wake after a nights sleep to horrific pain and in the throws of a heroin withdrawal.
This drug steals your innocence and your life. It ruins families and friendships. Nothing more then the epitome of evil. It does not give back without a brutal fight. We are 3 weeks into the battle. Her reality is not reality and we are waiting for her to figure that out.

I haven't heard from you in a couple of weeks and I'm wondering how things are coming along with your daughter. Is she out of rehab now? What was the final decision on moving her? Please let me know!!
