Kerri, I just wanted to drop you a note and say a quick "hello" as I've been busy trying to tie up all the loose ends this week if I do go ahead with the surgery this coming Monday. My pre-ops are Thursday and if my asthma isn't too bad I may just get the surgery out of the way so I can put this whole issue behind me. Yesterday I groomed the dog for hours, brushing, cutting her hair for the summer and a good scrubbing in the tub, and my back feels it today but she looks so much more comfortable as it's been so hot and humid here for weeks. She was just too hot with all her hair, she looks like a little yellow polar bear now. How's everything going with home, work, and the "new" hubby? I bet it feels awsome to be a newlywed even though you've been with him for years. Valerie

Congratulations! Kerri, the pictures are so lovely, thanks for posting them for use to see. Was there a significance to having everyone wear something green? I'm so happy that you are feeling better and enjoying your life again, you certainly deserve it. I'm waiting today to find out how my Dad's testing went, hopefully my brother Jeff will give me a call soon, he took the day off to go with him and make sure he gets home o.k. If there's nothing he needs to have done right away I may try to go ahead with my surgery in 2 weeks and just get it behind me. I just don't want to be laid up if he has to be hospitalized or worse. I think it's the uncertainty that's the worst, I can deal with a lot but I like to know what I'm up against. I'll get in touch when I know more. Hugs Valerie

Kerri, I've been thinking about you and the wedding, I hope it was lovely and everything you wanted it to be. I'll be looking forward to seeing the pictures. I think I may have to put off my surgery as my father isn't doing very well, and I'm afraid to be laid up if something should happen to him. He lost 60 lbs since January and may have stomach or colon cancer, and he is in such a fragile state with his heart problems and blood pressure he may not even make it through the testing he has to have in a week or so. I wish that I could have just had it done already but you know the story with my insurance the waiting I had to do. I'll fill you in more later, I'm really tired.
