April 28, 2008-Thyroid nodule found at routine PP checkup
May 2008-Ultrasound shows nodule on right lobe of thyroid approximately 2.2cm
May 2008-FNAB result comes back suspicious for papillary carcinoma
May 19, 2008-Total Thyroidectomy
May 22, 2008-Pathology confirms papillary carcinoma, follicular variant in right lobe. Tumor is 1.5cm. Left lobe is benign thryoid tissue.
June 1, 2008-Start LID Diet to prepare for RAI (crazy amounts of veggies and fruits!)
June 20, 2008-Stop Cytomel to prepare for RAI (July 2/3 WBS, July 10/11? treatment)
July 2, 2008-RAI canceled because DUMB ONCOLOGIST ordered a CT scan with iodine!! Restart Cytomel 37.5 mcg/day...

September 22, 2008-WBS
September 24, 2008-RESULTS--foci in thyroid area only, cancer has not spread!! WOOOHOO! On 137 mcg of Synthroid

Hey hun! GUESS WHAT ... I went in for surgery today on the breast lump and..... IT IS GONE!!!! OMG - after 2 techs and the radiologist could not find it, I got to leave with no surgical incisions!!! So excited and had to share! Thanks so much for all of your support! Much love~Kim

Duh - major brain fog! As you were telling me that I remember now your DUMBA$$ oncology screwup!!! My goodness, you would think the stupid doc would have read up on your issues BEFORE ordering any tests with an emphasis on THE REASON YOU WERE THERE! Sorry - that just kills me still. :P
You know, I had endometreosis surgery at 16 and at 19 and they removed a lot of stuff. I have had ovary cysts too, but after the second endometreosis surgery, no one focused on any of that anymore. I think we are all right and all of this mess begins and ends with HORMONES. I am so glad to here that you are somewhat feeling normal. I may have to demand the hormone testing.... ahh another appointment. Thanks again hun! ~Kim
