I am the mother of 4 children and 4 grandchildren. I began college late in life, at age 40, and graduated 6 years later *** laude. Before entering college I lost almost all of the hearing in my right ear from two ear surgeries. Since then, I've worn a hearing aid in the left ear as I had already lost approximately half of my hearing in that ear.
Until Feb. 1986, my husband and I lived in Corpus Christi, Texas. When he retired from the post office, we moved to Spicewood, TX where we continue to live.
