Thank you for your kind and gentle words. This will be the first death of a family member for me and I'm not sure how well I will handle it. My Dad has been sick for a few years now with heart failure. I was resigned to the idea that he would just slow down and fade away. Having cancer on top of it all seems like an insult. But he seems at peace now, just sleeping most of the time and content to have us around. Thank you for praying for us because that is where our strength will come from.
