Just a quick note to say hi! I see the MS specialist in Brisbane on the 4th December. I haven't as yet been officially diagnosed but my dr is fairly confident that I have it, especially after reading the report from the CT brain scan I had back in June. Yes, I know all about the pain of the surgery, I had about 3 feet of my large bowel removed. I had a wonderful 18 months of peace afterwards but due to extreme stress of my now awful ex-marriage, I had another flareup of the Crohn's. But ending the marriage did wonders for me and now my Crohn's is stabilised. I will be on my medications for the rest of my life though, but that's ok, its worth it to keep it under control. Is it Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis that you have, or something different. Take care bearsmum

Just a quick note to say hi! I have yet to get a dx, my appt with the MS specialist is on the 4th December. Hopefully will finally get some answers. I too, have serious bowel issues. I was dx with Crohn's Disease in 1990 and had surgery to remove a fair bit of my large bowel as there was severe narrowing and the wall was getting very thin and could have burst at any time causing perintinitis - unsure of that spelling. My Crohn's has now been stable for the last 4 years. No flare ups !!!! I have got numerous symptoms strongly relating to MS and MRI's 5 yrs ago showed lesions (3 of them) and the neuro said it wasn't MS. I recently had a CT brain scan which showed 2 more very bright lesions, one measuring 25mm. All the best bearsmum
