Fibrosis metavir F0 - F1 according to FibroSpect blood test in 2005
Symptomatic daily as I become older, fevers, extreme fatigue, nausea, hence have made decision to tx perhaps Jan 2008.
Update: now dx with diabetes type II with no risk factors so the virus has got to go.
3/14/2008 - started tx with Alinia. Now I understand the word "battle." :)

1st tx 04 came back in 3 mos. back on tx 48 wks stayed in remission 7 mos. then in Nov 06 came back and restarted tx in Feb 07 and will finish this month as this is the last time until something new is approved.
rec. blood transfusion in 1976 during a hysterectomy, had 5 back surgeries due to car accident and knee surgeries, as well as both feet due to drop foot symdrome that I wear a brace on the (R) foot which left me fighting every day. I've left the wheelchair but have to walk with a walker.
I believe in the Lord he will guide me through all this as I never stand alone. All things are possible with the Lord's guidance that one day there will be a cure...So when this road that were all traveling down seems to difficult I just PRAY and then leave the "Rest to God!"

hi! Cindy didn't know that you lived here in Houston. Yeah they told me if I respond then they have VX-950 that that are working on experimetal so I go in on the 22nd & they will access it from there, at least there not just throwing up there hands & saying that nothing else can be done when I know that that is not true. Me & another girl we have the same grade liver damage so its a wait & see . If we both have to have a transplant we talked at least we are in the best hospital & dr treating us. We have to place this in Gods hands. Are you still under treatment? Our group has been praying for you as they ask the other night how you where doing? I will bring up this Alinia as I think that is the other drug that they were talking about. You take care, always in prayers & thoughts. Pam

Just a quick note to say hi! well going through tx again as this time I am on pegysus as the St Lukes Liver/ and hepatologist said that I should have been on it this last time. I told that look I am the patient and I just do what all these drs have said and so far nothing has been right. Maybe this time Cindy as I have not forgotten you cause we have been praying for you. Don't have a way to send cards as so many have asked. I haven't heard from you but wishing the best. Hugs from a friend though maybe to help you bet through all this. I have a full mailbox ever since Mail For Cheer put me back on the list. God will take care of everything. Pam
