Looks like a great spot. I lived for 10 years in SE Asia and there is something about tropical sailing that makes it and the environment quite wonderful. All going well I expect to take a year or two out and sail to NZ and back. The boat is ready along with my mind but the body is currently dealing with a small technical problem and several chemical interventions. But only 36 weeks to go!

thanks for your comments regarding commitment and going for the full package. I can now really understand that the shortcut that I had initially envisaged 12 weeks ago, was a bad idea based on inadequate information. BTW, as a sailor I quite like your icon! Many thanks again for the encouragement and I hope that everything is headed in the right direction for you too.

Just a quick note to say hi Just wondering what part of south florida you are from. I am also from well sothwest florida. but my question is do you know if there are any support groups in ft myers? thanks have a good day
