| boggsy 7/22/2007 | . | I am in need of some assistance in finding a help group or a board that may help me with an issue in my life. I have a 30 year old sister that is living and working on the streets to support her drug addiction. I traveled to Birmingham from Panama City this weekend in hopes of finding her.. I was told by several people that I came across at these Truck Stops that she works that they have seen her. I am so desperate to save her at this point. I have not seen her in over 7 years and she has a little boy that is in my parents custody (which I don't talk to either and they don't care to help my sister either).. I feel that she needs a loved one to show that she is still loved and that her life is worth something. I need help or opinions in how I can go about looking for her. I have called the Birmingham Police Deartment and apparently they could care less about this so called street workers. But that doesn't change the fact tht they have loved ones and their loved ones want to see them live a full life. If anyone can post any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I am at a loss here. I want to help her out of this situations and I do understand that she has to want it as well but I think that if she realizes she has just one person at least out there on her side she may attempt to try and better her life and become the mom to that boy that I know she can be!!
