| You don't say what kind of stuff you are allergic to. The ones listed above are prescription and are good for seasonal allergies. You can also use a saline nasal spray to "wash" your nose. Air filters in the car or home help ward off airborne allergins before you breathe them. They work great as long as they are kept clean. Keep pets clean with regular baths to remove dander and allergins carried on the hair. Keep any pet cages or litter boxes clean and wear a face mask on lawn mowing day, or when dusting or doing heavy cleaning, spraying bug spray, or using spray cleaners. Don't use deodorant soaps if you have sensitive skin, and don't use anti-biotic soaps because you need the bacterial protection of the "good" bacteria on the skin that the antibacterial soap kills off. Avoid soaps with perfumes and if you have a problem with wool, avoid anything in it with Lanolin. Use caution with bath additives and bubble bath. When washing clothes, do the "final rinse" twice to make sure all soap has been removed from the clothes. Hope this helps | star queen 5/23/2006 |
