.This started about a year and half ago. Prior to that, my hearing was perfect since I lost my hearing in my left hear when I was 3 due to menijitis. It started with just one bad week at a time where my hearing would drop way down (super loud ringing, muffled hearing, etc) to where I could barely understand people talking to me (i couldn't hear my professors in class), but it would go away and remain gone for a long period after that. Now its gettin more frequent and my hearing stays down for longer periods of time. I cherish the days when I can hear fine. I have no idea what is going on. My ENT said it could be a deviated septum, but followed that up with "It might not fix the problem". He said there's no fluid, which was kind of a downer because thats what I thought it was. Sometimes it'll get a little better for half a day and go back to how it was. Im so frustrated and this and it is really starting to bother me. He put me on Zurtec and a nasal spray with no luck. Popping my hears seems like it makes it worse. I'm starting to think im going to have to get used to this. I don't know how I'm going to start my new job with my hearing this bad.

Please help,
Nick (Age 23)
