bitten by a tick

I was bitten by a tick about 3 days ago on the inner thigh. I took tweezers and got as close to head as possible and pulled it out so i am pretty sure I got the head and cleaned with alcohol after. The first two days there was just a red spot there that itches , but I noticed today there were about 7 to 8 much smaller red spots spots around it. This is probably just a rash from scratching it because I have no symptoms of rocky mountain fever , and I dont think I am alergic but i wanted to ask just to be sure. thanks	fender6 7/12/2006	.
