allergic reation to Plavix

After carotid artery surgery was put on Plavix. After getting allergic reaction to it, doctor took me off. How long does it take for Plavix to get out of my system?	jmetwin 4/3/2006	.
I'm not sure how long it would take to get out of your system. But whenever I had an allergic reaction to a medicine the ER doctor told me to take benadryl every 4-6 hours for 2 days. Benadryl stops the allergic response. Maybe you should discuss that with your doctor.	girl522 4/3/2006	.
