| I have seasonal allergies. My problem is that lately my eyes have been very irritated unlike ever before. My eyes get extremely itchy and I sometimes I see blurry. In the morning when I wake up I really get worried because I have a hard time focusing and again my eyes are very itchy. This concerns me because recently I've had an eye exam and everything went fine. My vision has always been good and I never had any complications with my eyes in the past. I wonder if maybe I could have some type of illness or infection that my optometrist is not detecting. I worry that this could possibly be a sign of vision loss. If anyone has had these eye problems or have any information for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. | chini5 8/23/2006 | . |
| I think you should see an eye specialist quickly as I had very itchy eyes for a long time & I rubbed them so much I ended up with a permanent corneal scar which means I have blurred vision. This may be what is happening to you? My eyes blurred and cleared several times before the damage was permanent.I now have to use steroid eye drops all the time or my eyes go pink & itchy & I could cheerfully gouge them out! You need to see a proper eye specialist at a hospital not just an optometrist. An eye doc will put a dye in your eyes that will Im guessing show abraded corneas from rubbing your eyes.I hope this is helpful.Or that youre better! | pangolin 9/19/2006 |
