| in the last 2 years ive had an arrhythmia (fast heartbeat 100-120 at rest and sleeping) that i noticed is worse at night when i TRY and sleep.. once my nose starts to clog and sinuses drip i start to get really bad symptons that sometimes keep me awake all night... common sense tells me because my heart is already out of wack once my nose plugs the oxygen im being deprived of just makes my heart beat even faster.. but have you ever heard of any relation between sinuses and arryhtmias and do you think that the starting cuase could be related to dental problems.. i have a dead wisdom tooth and gum infection that i am now going to the dentist for.. i did hear somehwere that wisdom teeth could cause sinus problems | ejip 4/10/2006 | . |
| I've wondered the same thing. My nose has always been clear, both sides. I am not a mouth breather, and I get very irritated when I get a cold or sinus infection because I cannot breathe through my nose. I am on 100 mg Toprol for a fast heart beat, for a little over two years now, and I have sinus congestion at night when I lie down for a long period of time. I like the a/c cold and the ceiling fan on, as it helps with the congestion. I am currently trying to go to 50 mg. Toprol. So far, I feel good and my heart is not beating fast. Wish I could give you more input. | lmroswell 4/12/2006 |
