Asthma meds questions...

My insurance carrier switched suppliers and consequently some of my meds I'm receiving are different. I'm guessing generic, but would like to know for sure.(1) My old med for temporary breathing problems was albuterol and now they send me ventolin. (2) My old med for allergies was flonase and the new is fluticasone. Any info on the med changes would be appreciated. Thanks, teamsteve	teamsteve 4/14/2006	.
Both medications are just different brands of what you were already taking. You should not notice any difference at all. FYI: the previous comment was nothing but an advertisement for somebodys personal business website.	myproblem 4/14/2006	.
agree w/ myproblem...i have asthma and allergies and my meds are changed constantly because of insurance or better brands....they are all the same where meds are concerned.	jifnif 4/17/2006	.
