| I am 23 and have always been healthy but over the past 18 months I have suffered from blocked/infected sinuses causing dizziness (like seeing stars)/light headedness/disorientation/headaches/fatigue and severe difficulties concentrating. These symptoms are only brought on after drinking alcohol and last for months afterwards. I had surgery to reduce my turbinates and to straighten a deviated septum about 6 months ago. I was totally fine for the next 3 months until I had a drink when the symptoms came back even worse. I have recently had MRI scans of my C-spine, and IAMs along with blood tests to rule out arthritis, all of which came back normal. I am sure that alcohol has something to do with this as every time I drink these symptoms occur. Is it possible to be allergic to alcohol in this way, and if so is it possible to control/remedy these symptoms? | jack1983 5/1/2006 | . |
| I think you answered you own question. I'm actually interested in your nasal surgery. Was it really helpful. I'm thinking of getting my deviated septum fixed because i have this horrible nose pain that radiates behind my eye and has been there for the past 2 months. Does it really work? | B_Johnson 5/1/2006 |
