| gjonez 7/16/2007 | . | Greetings all. I treated for 24 weeks and was clear at 3 weeks (started with a load of 1.6M). My ALT and AST were normal after 3 weeks but at 22 weeks they elevated a little and have remained elevated even though I had my PCR after 24 weeks and was clear. My doc doesn't seemed "real" concerned, I think he wants to see how things look in 3 months. My biopsy, before treatment, showed 3-4 of 4 / 3-4 of 4 - which my doctor said was right on that razors edge of cirrhosis. I have had upper right quadrant pain that got worse for a time but sorta peaked and remained there after about 10 weeks. Anyone have an idea why my levels would be elevated after being normal for so long? And why the pain hasn't diminished at all? I don't know if this is normal or not so I'm a little concerned.
