| san418 7/20/2007 | . | hello everyone..i hope someone can answer this question. i was diagnosed in 2001 with hep c viral load was 2million after having about 8 epidural steroid injections due to herniated disks in neck in about a 2 year period i started feeling much weaker viral load has passed 10 million my pharmacist seems to thin there is a very good chance it came from the injections as they make youor immune system much weaker. does anyone know if this is a possibility because i am now taking oxycodone and i am scared of any more injections i have also just found out i have the best type if therre is anything good about this genotype 2. 3 drs think interferon would be a very bad thing for me because of depression( lost both parents and my husband in a very short time frame) the injections were the only thing that really completely relieved radiating arm pain so bad it made me cry. so my question is is there anyone out there who has been told no steroid injections if you have hepatitis c. my dr only told me about this when i asked after the fact and said yes it could be from the injections. i wonder why i was NEVER told about these risks. and i have had drs who tell me hepatitis c does NOT cause fatigue in 80% of patients. i will feel better if someone says they have days of exhaustion so bad they can't get out of bed like i do so the drs will stop making me feel like my exhaustion does is not from the hep c but all in my head. thank anybody for help....also is it true interferon can cause depression to become much more serious? | [Thread closed to new comments] |
