My son, who is three, has a -18 D in both eyes and a -4 stigmatisum. We are at a Pediatic Opthamologist and seeing a retina specailist now in Atlanta in Sept. When we were first diagnosed at 18 months at Duke (in NC), they said his vision shouldnt get much worse. It was gone from a -12 to a -18 in two years. No one seems to be able to explain this. Any insight?
Also can you give any more info on the Artiflect (I believe that was what it was called that mentioned in someones comments) since no one has mentioned any available treatments.
They have rec. contacts but we all agree my sons a little rambuncous at this point.
Any info from other would be so appreciated!!
