I had my second corneal transplant on Nov. 8th of this year. Everything looked good until about a week ago when my vision began to decrease. My doctor says it is edema, the cornea has more fluid in it than it should. I am wondering if once the cornea clouds, is it possible to reverse the clouding or is that permanent? It seems to be clouding more and more so I am guessing this is something that is not going to reverse but in general can corneal edema be reversed?
