Warning Signs of MS

The symptoms of MS vary from person to person, depending on which nerves have been damaged, and how severely. Common warning signs of MS include:

  • Numbness, tingling or weakness, particularly in the limbs
  • Tremor or problems with balance and coordination
  • Partial or complete loss of vision is one or both eyes
  • Double or blurred vision, or pain when moving the eyes
  • Fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Slurred speech
  • Sudden onset of paralysis
  • Cognitive difficulty

Some people may experience other complications over time, including heat sensitivity, muscles spasms, impaired or slowed thinking, difficulty concentrating or memory problems, paralysis, depression, epilepsy or problems with bladder, bowel or sexual function.
