Edamame (whole soybeans in the pod) make the perfect finger-food: your kids will love sucking and pulling the beans out of the pod with their teeth. And you'll love that edamame are an excellent source of carbohydrates, protein and healthy fat. Buy them fresh or frozen (defrost in the microwave for two minutes).
