Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever

Cause: Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever is caused by the bacteria Rickettsia rickettsii, which is transmitted to humans through a tick bite.
Where: Among other symptoms, the rash appears a few days after the fever, developing first on the wrists and ankles and then spreading to the rest of the body.
