Side Effects

Temporary stinging/burning in the ear canal may occur. If this effect persists or worsens, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects. This medication may make it more difficult to tell if your infection is getting worse or if you develop a new infection. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these signs of a new infection occur: fever, new pain/redness/swelling of the ear, fluid leaking out of the ear. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the ear/face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing. This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
