Hello, lots of people have these problems. Relax, do not make yourself ill. Look at the archives on the Ophthalmology Forum and the Eye-to-Eye patient Forum. Use the search feature both places and use 'entopic phenomena', 'floaters', 'visual snow', 'flying corpuscle' 'blue field'.  They normally don't indicate any eye disease. The tiny dots are usually blood cells moving in the capillaries of the retina. There is no treatment for them and with effort most people are able to tune them out. As I type this out if I go looking for them I can see the thousands of tiny pinpoints of light moving in all directions in my own eye.

The problem is not going to be made worse by using your eyes. Do anythingyou want to do with them.'

If you have had a recent examination by an ophthalmologist (EyeMD) and all was normal and no new symptoms develop you only need a yearly examination.

Only you can make these things better by not dwelling on them. There are lots of postings on the eye sites by people with problems like yours.
