Fibromyalgia, Pain, Fatigue and Lyme

Feb 16, 2011 - 0 comments

I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and 5 weeks ago had a complete hysterectomy because I had a large cyst on my left ovary.  Over the last year and a half I have less energy and more pain.  The surgery I had was directly related to having bacteria in the body and causing the cyst and pain and fatigue along with a host of other symptoms.  I asked my doctor to try doxycyline for a trial on the Fibro as I am going to the Fibro and Fatigue Center in Seattle, Wa.  Feb. 22, 2011.  He finally gave me the antibiotic only because I am going to the U.S. for further treatment as the doxycycline alone will not eradicate the bacteria.  Lyme needs to be treated at multi-levels just as the bacteria is invading all levels of the body.  I will get testing there as my tests here in Canada show negative on the ELISA and further investigation won't be done.  Doctors here look at us like we're crazy and say that it's STRESS and I just get more stressed from seeing doctors that clearly don't have any idea on what to do for Fibromyalgia or Lyme for that matter.   Thank God for this site that we can share our experiences and make our own choices with what kind ot treatment is out there available for us.  I am sure glad that I found this site for I wouldn't be on this journey to pursue getting help.  I have been slowly getting rid of toxic things in my body over the years, such as all the fillings in my mouth I had removed and crowned all teeth.  I bought a Thermal therapeutic massage bed to aleviate my sciatica pain which I have also found to be associated with this so called Fibromyalgia.  This massage bed also relieved me of childhood traumas that I suffered and required a physical and mental and emotional healing.  The spiritual component is part of this as well.  Now I'm on my way to get this devil of a thing that is buried so deep in the cells and I need professional help.  I will now get it at this Fibro and Fatigue Center.  I'll keep you posted on the outcome.
