Just a quick note to say "Happy Valentines Day!" Hope you are doing well and having a great day today.
Forgive me, I have a good memory but is just short sometimes! Of course you have had an ablation and I do remember that but I think my note indicated that I didn't know that. Anyway, we have to look at the glass being half full don't we...It will be two months on Jan 2 for my ablation and honestly I have just noticed good results in the last couple of weeks. So perhaps it will be the same for you. I do think it takes awhile for the heart to heal from this "invasion"...I hope the best for you as well and I know you are enjoying that new little precious one. Do you live close to your grandbaby? I hope you do. Well, Cynthia, I wish you and yours a blessed 2010 and keep looking up. Your friend, SallyG
Just a quick note to say hi! Hi, Cyntha, Congratulations on the new baby boy. How exciting can that be, especially at Christmas time. I am doing just fine and I think the good results of the ablation are starting to kick in finally. As each day goes by I am convinced that I did the right thing. Did I understand you to say that you are not a candidate for an ablation? Didn't really understand what you mean't. Hope you have a great New Year and that 2010 is your year. Take care and it is good to hear from you.....SallyG
Happy Thanksgiving! So good to hear from you! Hope you have a great day. Linda
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Just wanted you to know I am thinking about you today. I know everything will turn out fine. When you feel up to it, please let me know how you're doing. Linda
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know you are ready for this and I know you are going to be fine. Just try to relax and put it all in God's hands. You couldn't be in better hands than that.
Hey...we're about the same age...I'm 60! And I want to retire in a little less than 2 years and I want to use that time to get as healthy as possible by that time. Now with the ablation behind me, I should be able to. I'm about to leave for my Holter Monitor so you have a good day and be sure to let me know how you are doing after your ablation.
Just a quick note to say hi! Thank you for your note. I am still doing well. Once in a while I feel a little heart awareness but that's about it. I go tomorrow and have a 24 hour Holter Monitor attached to me so they can see how my rhythm is. Then next week I go back in for a check up. I am hoping they find evidence (or lack thereof of irregularities) that the ablation was a success. There is always in the back of my mind that it will come back but if it ever does I will not wait 8 months to have another ablation. It is natural for you to feel concern before yours...I had the same thing. But now that I've had it done, it's not so scary. I would do it again without hesitation. Take care and let me know how it goes for you. Sincerely, Glitterar (Arlys)
Just a quick note to say hi! How are you? Do you have your ablation scheduled already? Let me know all your latest!
Hello! Thanks for your note. I am still so happy with having my ablation. I will go back in 6 weeks for an appointment check-up and will wear a Holter Monitor for 24 hours to see if my palps are fully gone. So far so good. It feels like I am holding my breath hoping a palp doesn't come. They were sure they got the 3 places they were coming from. I felt good enough today to make supper and some banana bread. Then I would go rest. I am sure your ablation will go well. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat (irregular or not!) :) Let us know how yours goes.
Just a quick note to say hi! How are you?? How did your consult go? Please let me know how you are. Linda
You're welcome. Like I said it may not be the case but if you are having doubts considering that thyroid issues can definitely cause heart issues it's best to have that double checked:-) Sounds like with your parathyroid removal that could be one of the factors. It's scary to have to resort to surgery especially on your heart and I've learned from past experience it's best to get all the info and make an informed decision. Good luck and I hope you are able to find some answers and pray that you won't end up needing surgery but if you do that it will be successful!
Just wanted to say hi. I also am going for an ablation consultation. Let me know anything you find out. What area do you live in? I'm seeing a Dr from the Cleveland Clinic but he just happens to have a practice in Austin. I wish you the very best. LindaTx
Just make sure that when you look into ablations, go to the best EP you can. I really feel the outcome is based on how good and experienced the EP is. I met with several EP across the country before I decided who was going to do my ablation. I traveled out of state to have it done. Good Luck. Wishing you well, and wishing you enough...
