Almost anything can cause a rage or bring on depression. There are anger management courses that you maybe can get via your GP? Depression's something for a Doc/Psych to diagnose/treat. If you can learn to relax it will help in most instances. Sometimes a rage can save your life, but not in everyday life. As you are aware that you have this tendency you must try to compensate for it, ie keeping quiet when you want to lash out, remain calm when others are losing their cool etc. Best bet is to seek professional help if you are unable to deal without daily hassle.
