Hey Mike,
I am managing. No REAL big episodes going on. Doc says I am stable. I get yelled at in the summer because of the sun but I can not help it. I love the beach but tend to overheat. Meds seem to be good and I am alright for now.

Mike - let me know if you already read that article on LOMS - Also, if you come across something worthy, now that we have a specific thread for that topic. Mike, I read your journal... I have had some similar symptoms as you... facial pain, pain in the bottom of ribs, headaches, and interestingly I had a frozen shoulder for about a year. I have found just a few with such similar symptoms. Crazy disease....Take care... terri

Hi,
I am glad to hear you are doing well with one of your meds..
I am okay..Topomax was my daily med..I am hving a tough time sorting things out as I have had the bug/flu with a sinus infection so can't say if it migraine or just the sinus thing..I had on incident of headache with vomitting but still unclear if migraine or left over sinus stuff..anyway I have appt. May 6th so time will tell...
I hope your Refib works too..if you ever get it ;o)

Just a quick note to say hi! Hi Mike, I started on 900mg a day but increased to that dose gradually, so yep they are 300mg capsules, then I went to 1800mg daily, so I still took them 3 times a day but two capsules at each time. I did that gradually as well, but that is when I had some weird dreams but they went away.
I stopped taking them about a mth ago because the combo of them and my drugs for my bladder was making my mouth to dry but since I have gone off them I have so much more nerve pain, I might have to go back on them again, but I have now stopped my bladder drugs too, but I think I need them.. both tablets caused a very dry mouth and constipation.
I hope you feel better soon,

Yes! DO call your prescribing Dr. ref. your meds! Makers of DMDs are pretty good about lining up appts to teach and the pharm calls too for shipment!!!!! call in the a.m. and update us! - hen shell

Just a quick note to say hi! Hi there I did respond to your post on Gabapentin but I mucked up my tablets dosage I actually take 2 tablets 3 x daily and yes Gabapentin also helped with my headaches, apparently it can but I was prescribed for it because of my nerve pain for my TM. (Udkas)

Good luck with your meds...I hope your Easter was nice and i would have waitd too until after the holiday with company...
My doc took me off my migraine meds..I'm feeling no different w/out them..we'll see what's next

This is a disease of hurry up and wait. We rush through the tests, only to wait for neuros to be available. We hurry up for the dx and then we wait for the meds to arrive or begin to work. After we have done all that hurrying, then we sit back and wait to see what's next. :- ) Good luck with the Rebif. - L
