The recipe you're talking about is The Thomas Recipe I believe. It's supposed to help with the withdrawals. I haven't tried it because mine werent servere enough to make me want to try. It's basically a bunch of vitamins that can make you feel better, and the recipe gives you directions on when and how to take them.
