Heya Melinda! Thank you.
Buff is starting to sit with Anita in the recliner chair more days than not.
Cooper actually fell asleep, out in the open, in the family room last night.
They still go to the garage door, Miss Teia used to go out there to check on her stuff.
I open the door and they crouch at the threshold, noses held high, looking around.
I think, for them Teia is still out there.
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today. Hi Melinda! How is Sookie since her surgery in Sept? And how is everything with You? Miss your posts although not much to post these days, is there. Sending prayers, hugs and much love to you and your beautiful girl. xoxo
Just a quick note to say hi!...going to spend afternoon helping my son with them today while dil has some business to do, very excited. Yes they are doing well and are adorable. Hope life is treating you fairly and your doing well. Xoxo
Thanks so much! I am working on it, doing stretches just about every day. It does seem to help. I hope you are well, Dee
Hi there, we are friends!! I am excited, thank you so much!! There is a problem with friend request, MH working on it. HUGS
Thank you Melinda, your kindness just pops on the screen. I was so happy to see your responses to Jade I had to say something. You sentiments mirror mine so much. Thank you for taking the time to send me a note.
Just a quick note to say hi!
So very sorry to hear Spike is not feeling well---I will be praying for you both, dear lady
Thanks for the note. Hope it helps the lady. :)
I'd think the Cooper's Hawk are likely still in residence at the house up in Illinois where he picture was taken. Have yet to see one here in southern Maryland where we now live.
well your note sure gave me a good laugh this morning .....yes it is human twins my son and Dil are expecting :) now I've heard should be sometime late March....so excited. I do have a houseful of rescued furry babies at the moment too tho, 1 momma 12 babies, not all same litter. Some going today to a home, some tomorrow to a shelter but 5 for sure stay with me at least another month.
How are your two babies??? Sorry too busy to be on here much and I'm bit out of touch....hope all is well with you and yours. Thx for the giggle xoxo
Just a quick note to say hi!...yes a gramma again and it's TWINS did you see that update, omg don't know how well all manage but they sure will be love :)
What you wrote about territorial imperative as to why Miss Teia is so good at the vet rings true.
We had her a couple years before we took her to the vet again, took that long before she trusted us to box her up and bring her home; she was the same with Doc Knilans back in Illinois as she is with Doc Bennett here.
Hope you and yours are well.
Thanks - Pip
Hi Melinda, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. That journal you commented on was several weeks old. I wrote it when I was having a bad day. Thank you for your amazing words. That I've had such a positive effect on you or anyone is incredible to me. I'm pretty sure you post on the cat forum more than I do these days. It's not because I don't want to, I just have a hard time focusing. I know you don't feel well what with the MS, meds, etc, but still you make time to help others. It's always a pleasure reading your posts. Thank you so much for seeking out my journals and making the time for me! And yes, the new format takes some getting used to. Sending much love. Big hugs! xo
Lovely post to Pip, as always. You have a special way with words, Melinda. I know I've said it before, but thank you for sticking around on the Cat Forum...when you feel well enough. I can only imagine what you're going through, yet you keep an awesome attitude. You've been having some new trouble lately, I see. I know I can't begin to compare myself to you, but last, ha, I forgot, but I think it was Tues, the transformer in our backyard exploded! I thought our electricity box blew up, the noise was so loud. Then the power went out. All I could think was, I have to deal with this myself!! Everything's fine now. Had electricity in a couple hrs, then transformer box replaced with a new one the next day. Thinking of you, honey. Prayers and much love...xoxo
Miss Teia is much less tolerant of us doing procedures at home than she is at the vet's.
We've gotten maybe 100 cc's into her before stopped putting her through the bother.
When we're back from visiting family, we'll get a refresher course from the vet.
Hey Melinda...was just reading a journal from May you commented on. You always make me feel so good. And btw, that 'four in the morning' song I was referring to, was sung by Jesse Colin Young of the Youngbloods. Thank you, too, for your awesome note. Nice to see you posting as well. Hey, you said you don't think to check your notes. Do you use your Home Page? It's recently come to my attention, not everyone knows about that. Just click on 'My MedHelp' up top. You'll find your notifications there. If you knew all this, please disregard. :) Much love...xoxoxo
You deserve a big bear hug! Great answer to "Littlebea10" on the Cat Forum. And to the previous poster, too. I haven't been feeling well lately and just didn't have the energy to attempt to answer. Not only did I hurt my lumbar area a few wks ago, but it's been 'something' every day lately. I'm also having trouble sleeping; I'm just exhausted. Speaking of sleeping, you poor thing having to sleep sitting up. That can't be easy. I hope you're at least able to get out of your chair and into something more comfy like a recliner. Thank you, also, for your sweet and supportive words, and for being such a great friend to me. I need to get back to that last journal you posted on, and answer everyone's questions, too. Just waiting for the energy. Prayers, hugs and much love, honey...♥
Thank you for your sweet words on the forum. You are such a love. Hugs. ♥
Wait a minute! Which cat we talkin' about?? LOL
Well, it's the thought that counts, right? :) You do need your Pook and Pookie needs you. Thank you honey. Although I do complain; really, I can't. I think you face far greater challenges than I can imagine. My prayers are with you, sweet friend. Btw, your journal. I read it when Breezy commented. Oh boy, that was a hard read. In that it was difficult reading my friend Melinda going through such horrors. I am so very sorry. What a loving, giving, Strong woman you turned out to be in spite of it all. Much love and admiration~ xo
Nice to see you on the forum, honey. Thinking of you and hoping your health soon takes a turn for the better. Love you~thinking of you~ xo
So Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I thought that might be the case, but was hoping against it.
We all need our down time, just sad to know your are not feeling well during your time.
Your shiny presence is always so needed, so please hurry up and get back to":Slayin" here at Med Help.
Love you , girlfriend
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today WHER YOU BE< Melinda
I sure hope everything is ok. Have not seen you on the forum for a while and miss that smiling Alberta that I have come to know as YOU!!!!
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I was just checking in on you dear, I do hope you are feeling some improvement in health by now. Are you bright eyed and bushy tailed or still feeling under the weather? I pray it's better for you. When you feel up to it, please drop a note and let us know. We care. Love, Darla OO
Just a quick note to say hi! I saw a fleece one in a catalog yesterday. :P
Hugs Melinda, Thank you for your note, how are you doing hon? I had my first daffodil come up today in the yard! Crazy! Best wishes to you. xxoo Darla
You deserve a big bear hug! Haha, people look at me real weird, like they're thinking "God, I don't want whatever SHE has!" and I'd like to say "It's the funk I can get from you, the reason for my mask."
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today. You are so silent out here and then you just pop in with a nice reply. Bless U..YOU are a Sweetheart!
You deserve a big bear hug! I sure hope you both start feeling better! I have had it. The doctors office is a dangerous place to go. So many germs, I have started to wear a paper mask. I get some strange looks but I don't care. Have a wonderful blessed day, kiss the kitties.
Thank you Melinda. Your attitude is to be admired and emulated. I pray the New Year brings you more joy and less pain. Loving hugs xo
Thank you so much Melinda. I've missed you too. I'm happy someone could relate to the Mr Mom quote. I still laugh at that. You, my friend, are a true example of a strong woman. Thank you for lifting me up during what truly has to of been the worst thing to ever happen to me/us. I hope the New Year will bring you and your wife more happiness than ever. Gentle hugs and much love to you. xo
Hey Melinda! Oh boy, I sure am glad you're on MY side! :) All the machinery is my husbands. I couldn't just sell them, they are his. Unfortunately it's not up to me who uses them either. It was only the 3rd time R's mom came over last week, too. It was just a lot to take with 'D' AND her here. MIL has also taken to stopping over early Sunday am after her marketing to drop off the paper and some junk food (for me, too) on the porch, then leave. Now R has me unlock the screen door so she can come in if he's awake (I stay in my room if that happens!). I suggested he ask her to bring something healthy instead of the packaged brownies she's bringing us that stay good on the shelf for YEARS. She brought bran muffins last Sunday. :) xoxo
