Paula, I'm so glad you dropped me a note! So nice to hear from you. Doing okay here in Minnesota... had surgery on each foot this summer and still healing from that. Our 24 yr. old daughter (and only child) is busy trying to carve a career for herself in photography and living either with us or with her best friend and her family (the girls work together).... our doggie girls have both passed away (So very sad... Still miss them both so much). Maya died in the summer of 08 and Maddie died this past Sept. Still working on the ultimate goal of being completely balanced hormonally.... always a bit of a struggle but working with a great doctor now regarding all that. Take care and drop by again very sooooon.... Love, Mary
Just a quick note to say hi! At Christmas time, I like to do stuff like that for my sisters...I like to get a big box and fill it up with warm socks, a mug, some hot chocolate packets...(funky flavored ones) a movie, a box of microwave popcorn and maybe a pair of funky slippers...
Just a quick note to say hi! I love the idea of winnie the pooh socks...how cool is that....I have those ones that come out at christmas...bright colors with skid resistant feet...Then I have some bright purple ones that are really fuzzy and so very soft. I'm thinking I need a whole wardrobe of warm socks and maybe some cool slippers.
Just a quick note to say hi!
The hair could easily be thyroid or meds either one. I'm gonna start looking into vitamins and see if there is anything that will help....I just had my blood tested, but no results yet. Still really tired and very cold all the time...Even when it's ninety degrees I get very cold sometimes.
Just a quick note to say hi! Regarding the Hashi's...So how are you doing now?
If they are very different in different positions, its indicative of heart issues
alrighty heres another thought have you had blood pressure taken sitting, standing and laying down to see if there is a difference? if not insist on it.
read your post on the dr thread, have you considered a neurologist?
Just a quick note to say hi! thanks for the advice
Thank you for your note! I did get good news at last. The mass on the thyroid is benign!! Hallelujah! All 3 biopsies came back benign. The Graves seems to also have calmed down a bit so I am just to be monitored closely throughout the pregnancy. It is the best news as I can look forward again.
Thanks again for your notes and for thinking of me.
Thank you for your note. I have had a horrible week. When I had the thyroid biopsy last thursday they said I would hear back on Monday. Its now Friday and I still don't have answers. Why tell someone Monday if it isn't a sure thing? Most of all I am nervous that this is a recurrence of my OVCA. The odds of it being a new malignancy are so low, but that was what they said to me about my original OVCA tumours so it gives me no comfort. Now we have the long weekend so don't expect an anser till Tuesday. Depressing! Bron
Hi Paula. I wanted to thank you for your offer. I did finally get to speak with Chris today, and you're right. She was happy we are going ahead and moving on this. I'm sure you read her post about not feeling so well lately, so she appreciates the help. Thanks again!!
Thank you, Paula. I saw your message on JH and I hope to hear from Chris soon. It's at least good to hear about her. I think I've heard of someone else with ovca and Hashimoto's. How does that affect you? How is it treated? No rush to reply, just when you have time, if you don't mind my nosiness. Wishing you good days and thanks again.
Thanks, Paula. We've stayed in touch for the last few years. We met on tealtalk and we talk in windows live, too. The last I heard from her was the email about her friend, Rick. I replied but never heard back. I would call but couldn't find a number. I do have her address though. She hasn't been on JH, or ovca.net We're worried about her.
I'm a friend of Chris Recco's and several of us are worried about her. We haven't heard from her in so long. If you talk to her please tell her to email me. Thanks.
No, I haven't gotten the referral yet. I will be seeing my doctor again soon. It's really hard to get her to send me to a rheumatologist, too, even though I have obvious symptoms of FMS/CFS, too. It's also hard to get her to test the T3 for thyroid. She is really good about a lot of other things, but is really stubborn about some things. She doesn't believe that people can have chronic Candidas at low levels either, so she isn't even willing to test for that.
Would thyroid issues explain why I always feel so nauseous when I first wake up in the morning?
Thank you for the information about endo specialist. Is this the same thing as endocrinologist? IF I can get my doctor to get me a referral, I'll see if she will refer me to one. MOST of the time she'll give me a referral if I ask her for one. But, I've found that this isn't always the case. Insurance carriers drive me nuts.
Paula, I just wanted to leave a note to let you know I was thinking of you. Hope you and your family had a great weekend. Love, Mary
Just a quick note to say hi and to let you know that now that I am feeling a little better I will look the guys up. They are still here, right?
Paula, I will do that. Just give me an idea where to look and let me know when they will get here.
I hope that things are going a little better for you.

Hey, did you see my post from this morning?I did some checking and the state fair will be going on while we are in Springfield. I don't know how many would be interested, but I thought it might be something to do for a little while. I hope that all is going well for you and that you have not been hit to hard by all of the storms. We have been pretty lucky and been getting more rain than anything.
Take care and stay dry!
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today. Hi Paula, just wanted to say Hi and let you know that I was thinking of you today.
