Just a quick note to say hi!
Thank for your note. I saw a pulmonary doctor when I was in the hospital. When the nodules were found, I also was in atrial fibrillation. So, they admitted me. The pulmonologist said to have a repeat ct done in 4 months.I did and things were stable. So, it was not necessary to see him unless there was a change. I also have xanax to help me with the anxiety. Saw a new pcp yesterday, and I am now waiting for insurance approval for mt ct scan. This is the time I am most anxious about the nodules. So glad I found this site...thanx for responding...it is a great help...Linda
Good luck with the next scan! Keep me updated :) His biopsy was not bad it was outpatient and we were there about 5 hours in total. The biopsy itself only took like 20 minutes..they put a CT guided needle through his back. He was had to lay flat for 2 hours after then the did an chest xray to make sure there was no collapse. He was a little sore that night and coughed up a bit of blood (which is normal). By the next day he was totally fine. The week waiting for the results was worse than the biopsy!
Okay, I'll try again! Of course we can be support for each other! I totally understand what you are saying .. .I still haven't heard back from my primary care about the results from the ER. I think that's what is most maddening. AND the ER doctor didn't tell me the truth (said there was only one nodule), AND suggested I see a ... cardiologist .. when all my heart tests were normal. Seriously. This is frustrating! How are you??
Test .. test ... is this thing on?
