How are you doing these days?
OK...it seems to be working now. Thank you for checking back in with me. Everything is so much better these days. I feel like it was mostly anxiety and stress that was bringing these nighttime racing heart episodes on but I also feel it is because my hormones are so out of whack right now. I started a hormone treatment plan called Theracyl that is suppose to help my hormones balance themselves out again and it seems to be working....I'm 43 so I'm heading down that path into menopause...lucky me! Anyway, I am sleeping better, only have about 2 racing heart episodes each night but they only last about 10-15 seconds....I just don't let them bother me and I take a couple of deep breaths and instantly they go away. I then go back to sleep and get a total of 7-8 hours of sleep a night now.
Just a quick note to say hi! I just tried writing you back but the message does not appear to have been sent....I'll try sending you this one as a test before I respond again to you.
Thank you for your note to me. I appreciate all the advice and sharing your own experiences with panic/anxiety attacks. I have a feeling you are 100% right about your suspicions. It's funny but after my worst nightmare came true yesterday when my tachycardia happened to me while away from home (and I didn't die and embarrass myself in front of everyone) I was able to sleep better and when I did awake during the night, my heart was just fine. I feel like if this was some kind of heart condition, it would bother me more than it does these days. Seems it only bothers me when I'm thinking too much about it. I tend to bring them on myself. Thank you for writing.
