googled mouth/ear pain after bridgework and found your posting. sounds exactly like what I'm going through now. glad you posted this. Thought I was going.crazy. Its been weeks going on 2 months with 2 adjustments. Dentist says the nerve might die and then it will be RCT. Please tell me you had a positive outcome. Thanks, Denise ***@****
Thank you for the information. Tooth pain really is the worst.
I read your post today about your jaw and ear pain and although its over three years later I wonder how you made out. I recently had a filling done and while on vacation had terriblt tooth pain. My dentist was also on vacation and I went to a new dentist who adjusted my high filling. I saw him again two days later and he adjusted it a little more. Although I am taking less Motrin now and at longer intervals, my ear, jaw and throat are still killing me. I am wondering if you ended up needing a root canal and if not how long after adjusting your bite did the pain completely go away? I'm ready to pull all my teeth out. Thanks.
just wanted to let you know a little to late i guess, but you go on line to the ohio state dental board and get a complaint form.
just click on the complaint form, the sight may have changed by now. I recently in 2006 had a dentist put a cap on my tooth and it hurt for months, he told me there wasn't anything wrong with it and in time the nerve would die. yea right. I was too dumb to know I had an abcess and had to get a root canal, the cap ended up falling off. I put in a complaint but it was too late. Statute of Limitations for ohio is 1 year. And they never get your money back for you at the board either. I just give him a bad name every where I go. But I believe what comes around goes around so I'm sure one day he'll get his.
Just a quick note to say hi!
