Hey Junebug!! Nice to hear from ya. Tonight is actually my last Riba, 3 pills and EOT! Yahoo! Good timing. Doing fine and hope to get some energy back soon. Hope you are well.
Hope the insurance company pull through for you. It will make the whole thing seem less painful it that works out. Choosing a new bike is both exciting and frustrating. This should be a good time to find 2011 model if your looking for something new. Be sure to include Giant in the mix, I'm a little biased, haha. I have a Giant TCR Advanced and got my wife a Giant Avail Advanced. As you know, the fit is the most important place to start, so hope you get some good help with that. Good to see you're doing so well. Hope you find something soon.
Hey Junebug, hows life on the other side? Saw your mood update. Sounds pretty good. Hope you found a new bike.
Just a quick note to say hi! and say congratulations that u finished tx and i hope your luck turns for the better and u can stay away from docs and hospitals for many years!
Just read your July 24th post of Ruby Stolen. Soo sorry, I also ride a Ruby Pro and so love my bike that it must have been hard on you. How are you feeling with tx? I start in September, I am doing the Lavaman Tri in Hawaii at the end of the month so that is why I am delaying..plus its summer.....sortta here in the Pacific Northwest Mo
Thank you so very much for your support and encouragement to my recent post. It was very encouraging to hear how well you are doing ! Thanks again & take care.
Your heart must have sunk when you saw your Ruby gone. So sorry. I guess a cable lock from now on unless someone is watching it for you?
I began trt about one month before the new PI's were approved by FDA/insurance. My GI recommend not to wait for this choice and thought I was a good candidate for SOC/48 weeks since I had a very low VL and was in good shape, active, etc. In hindsight, after reading this forum and self educating, I'm second guessing to the point of switching doctors, finding someone much more familiar with HCV and the latest treatments, etc. There's other reasons to consider switching too, I've sometimes thought that if I unfortunately had to do a second round, the new PI's would then be available since I wouldn't already be resistant? :)
Big smiles for hearing your doing so well, so full of energy. Big sad face for the stolen Cannondale - bummer. Nice to hear your doing so well. :) Hope to be there with you on the other side soon. @ 14/48 ugggg. lol

How are things going with your treatment?
Yes, this is a good forum, a good support group as you're going through treatment. I just finished my treatment a few days ago. I did 48 weeks of SOC + TMC435. SOC means "standard of care" which means interferon + ribavirin. TMC435 is an experimental drug, a protease inhibitor which probably won't be available to the general public until about 2015. They're going to check the viral load in 4 weeks, in 12 weeks and in 24 weeks to see if the virus comes back or not.
Thanks for the information about the Yoga. I have been on a healthful regimen lately, eating wholesome foods, doing cardiovascular exercise but one thing that was missing was some kind of meditation or yoga. In a way, getting hep C may have a good thing because now I don't take my health for granted.
Welcome to the Forum! You sound like you have a positive attitude. I think your treatment will go well.
In your post you mentioned that you will do Vinyasa Yoga during treatment. I plan to begin studying yoga and/or meditation after I finish treatment in 4 weeks. My goal is to improve relaxation and stretching. I've never heard of Vinyasa Yoga. How do you like it?
