Just a quick note to say hi! Jellylegs here, sorry I didnt see your replies on a post that I had responded to untill now. If its of any use definate diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis was made by identifying a recurrent blistering rash on hands and feet as palmar plantar pustular psoriasis and that made the symptoms fit. Blood tests were always normal and this is the case in 50% of patients but I was dismissed every time untill I took control myself unfortunatley that cost a lot of money. Hope you are doing better.
I still have not gotten an answer for what is causing my symptoms... All I know is that I have tested for hiv 10 times out to 9 months and all negative... I have visited clinician after clinician and all have told me my symptoms are being caused by anxiety but I have a hard time believing that. I know what I feel but keep testing negative for everything so I do not know
In response to your question, I never got a dx of shingles for sure, it may have been TN all along, pain in my head, no "real" rash, but some don't get one. Do you have a rash on 1 side of your body somewhere? Go to shingles forum for more info on that. Also take Trudie's advice and see a rheum doc for the rest. Stay calm, don't stress and make symptoms worse and harder to dx. Docs will use that as a blanket statement also. Write down your symptoms daily and take it to appts. Good luck to you.
