Thinking of you, hope you are better :)
Hey there Star! Have you tried NADH? It really helped me quite a bit. It helps with energy and brain fog. What a difference.
Thinking of you
Hey there, I know you were on the quadruple tx and I think that was more than most on here know about. If I were you I would conduct searches for long term effects of all 4. i.e. VX950, VX222, Peg, Riba
My prayers are with you
Just a quick note to say hi!OH I HEAR YOU I TOOK IT FOR A YEAR & NO-ONE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD END UP A BLATHERING IDIOT IN SO MUCH PAIN THAT I HAVE A HARD TIME JUST TO LEAVE THE BED & TAKE A SHOWER! IF I WOULD HAVE ONLY KNOWN.I HOPE YOU GET BETTER OVER TIME YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS.SUFFERING IN CAPE BRETON,CANADA
You deserve a big bear hug!
Just checking in, hope all is ok
Just a quick note to say hi! hi there! all is well here and mostly sooooo relieved to be done and so far virus indetectable. still have some rash and itch and a wierd twitch kinda like restless leg when i relax. kinda subtle so i will ignore for now. last week pain and swelling in foot and calf. hoped it would go away but sis (nurse) insists i see doc for phlebitis to prevent deep vein thrombosis. i am sooo sick of docs that i just procrastinate and go back to my book and the couch!!!
other wise i am so glad i did tx and it is over. i feel a huge sense of freedom altho potential sx and more blood tests hang over causing wee anxiety. how is your tx? it goes fast, hang in there, babs
Just a quick note to say hi! i just did my last injection and a little dance of joy. i have a week of riba to go and feel pretty good with the usual sx. you will be where i am before u know it. keep the faith, babs
Just a quick note to say hi! i saw your response to bree and see that u are struggling. a few words of encouragement; the first few months of tx are the hardest. the sx come and go,often just pop in and out. a positive can do attitude will help so try to start the day on up beat note even if u just scratch a day off calendar and proclaim one more day down. if u stay a bit active it may distract u from moods and sx. do not dwell on any negative stuff on the web or posted here. life is good and this is an investment in your future. best, b
Feeling much better, have to go to Petersburg VA tomorrow for a memorial will email you when I get back
Hey there, how are you doing? It is beautiful out today
Just a quick note to say hi! the strong steroid cream was a miracle. now all i need is dry skin lotion after a few days of the steroid. thanks for your help, babs
You deserve a big bear hug!
I hope you are doing ok today
Please don"t make that decision without getting some feedback from the rest of the group!
Don't quit yet. Come on the forum and let's discuss this. Maybe we can help.
Just a quick note to say hi! hope u will think through the thought of quitting. maybe some discussion with those on the forum too...it is a very big decision. best, babs
Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for the invite! Isee you are just starting tx. I just started myself 7 wks. I think everyone is nervous starting out, however I must say so far so good as far as very liitle side effects ! I haven"t missed a days work in the 7 wks. From what I see on the forum that is the same result for many of us. Hope that helps and if I can be of any further help don"t hesitate to contact me Good luck, and keep in touch
Things change quickly it appears. Day .7 started out good as I was first talking to you. By the time I went to bed at12:30 itching everywhere. Woke up completely at 2:30 with a weird head buzz. Is this riba effect? Back to sleep.restroom every hr.wide awake at 6:30 but want to sleep. I was a project manager. Would I feel safe walking on to a job site? Absolutely not. No sugar coating. If I were stage 3, however...like I am now..I would figure something out.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Just wanted to say that the fear of the interferon is actually worse than the actual shot. Some do fine, others do not, it all depends on your particular stage of the disease and your own system. Water is the most important thing and resting. For me a very patient partner is essential as there are days you can't do a thing
Just a quick note to say hi! i retired from corporate culinary and work as private chef for one long term client. in fact im off to work momentarily! have a good day, babs
I seriously get it. That is why I put off the treatment, too. We need to be honest, and she said it was hard. but. She is the one that isn't worrying about the condition of her liver now, and I AM.
Anyhoo..I just wrote to her via gmail and she sould answer this before noon tomorrow. I will find out from her if she thinks the shot timing would help you. What STAGE are you in?
I am amazed at your bravery , participating in the trial! I basically had a bad flu..but was a big baby about it because I never get the flu sick. My.poor family. You know the drill...water waterand more water. Do you have support at home tmrw night.? What time do you take your shot? We can talk thru our respective shots if we aren't under the covers sleeping it off.
Just a quick note to say hi! you will settle in shortly. tx is not as bad as most folks project. my life has been pretty normal for the last few months except less appetite and need for more rest. good luck, babs
