Re your post on double vision in both eyes. I have had this for 25 years ! Exactly the same symtoms. No answers from specialists in Australia. (Hmm - very strange - nothing wrong on any of the tests - I'll check with colleagues and get back to you !)
Did you finally get any help to resolve the problem ? Please let me know on email wjk-***@****
Nancy: On your decision not so see another neurologist: There are some neuros that are good but you have to "kiss a lot of toads" so to speak to find them and that can be quite expensive. Most are useless and certainly not worth a dime. In general, I applaud your decision. However, you might consider seeing a neurologist again - just not in this country. If you do see one abroad, I suggest not seeing one in a country that is too cozy with the US govt.
Hugs and sympathy from,
Thank you for everything!
Thanks for your input.....
Just a quick note to say hi! Hi Nancy, thanks for your input on Uthoff's, I definitely get more pins and needles and sensory problems as soon as I walk too far and start to get hot, I think people are right, I only seen my neuro mth ago, he reckons my exam in unchanged from time before.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Hey there, thanks for the reply....But, I did leave some good info on there to you perhaps to share w/ your Optho :)
You have perfectly understood me, it is my own feelings you have effortlessly and poetically put in words there! I had noticed your flair at writing much earlier. I know your work is somehow (?) connected to this talent of yours.Would like to read more of your literary experiments (so to say?)
Here in Aden, we have only two seasons, hot summer and cold summer. We are saying bye to cold summer in February. Saw fluorescent waves on the beach for the last few days...Otherwise nothing much to write.

Hope you are doing fine. I am sorry I hadn't responded earlier. Your detailed email deserves an equally long reply; and hence it got procrastinated. (Procrastination will invariably have excuses ;-)
Hi, I was looking for some info on double vision and came across this forum. I've had problems with double vision for many yeas... I couldn't understand who you are, Nancy, a doctor, or a person who has been sharing the same problem.... I do really need help with this :(
Hi, Nancy. Why not join the regular MS community? You'll find lots of good info there, and good friends as well. Please see our Health Pages.
All the best,
I do think I am getting better, though it's complicated. I'm sure you know enough about Lyme to be aware of the distinct medical points of view. I found myself in a situation where I had to go against all of my conventional doctors. I have my doubts some days, but am staying objective and do think I'm on my way. Your past advice to not get hung up on a particular diagnosis did help me along the way.
