Thanks Lori, I did well for a month or so, but now I need more thyroid hormone :/ Hope all is well
Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks Lori...they tested Calcium said it was fine @9.0 but dr won't do a PTH test said I had no symptoms to do one for...but my cardiologist is sending me to Vanderbilt - maybe I'll get some answers there =)
Good luck on your surgery; glad to see you back and feeling alittle better take care of yourself.
Just a quick note to say hi! im learning so much from you just starting on this journey.
They haven't gone into detail with it yet, as it is only slightly raised. I'm going for another blood test in a few weeks to see if it has gone back down or continued to rise. I am happy that they are going to keep an eye on it at the moment but if they start ignoring it again I ask to be referred to another doctor for another opinion.
Going to wait and see how the next blood test goes anyway and take it from there.
Hope you manage to get them to see sense with your op, I can't imagine why they think that is the best way to go about it ... typical doctors!!!

Thanks for asking and I hope you are well, yes results came back all clear on the thyroid side of things. No irregularities there, however my Prolactin levels are slightly raised so they are going to keep an eye on this for a while. They are still saying that my symptoms are not hormone based as such but that any chemical imbalances I do have will be corrected by the sertraline which I am taking for the depression. I saw a different doctor when I got the results and he was much better at explaining things to me.
How have you got on your end? Have you managed to get them to do a scan before they operate?
