Thank you for everything!
Just a quick note to say hi! I am doing well still clean but have not been on very much. It is a bizarre feeling to be straight this long and able to function. being straight is getting better. Hope you are feeling good
I am hanging in there! Still the good fight! Hope you are great! hugs
Sup Gary, I see you're still around too. I finally got a netflix account about a month ago and I've been watching the hell out of The Trailer Park Boys instead of hanging around here and posting like I should. Anyway, glad to see you're still alive and kickin. Bob
I needed a good laugh and Arsia posting that picture did it! She is a good kid and very bright also.
Hope you're having a great weekend!
Man!! At first when I saw the shot of the screen,I was scared! It was weird to see that then I figured out what she did. That was even funnier to me! I'm just laughing ...
Hey Gary, haven't talked in a while. You still doin okay? I'm hangin in there. My 22 year old daughter has made it her lifes mission to keep me pissed off (or so it seems) but beyond that, life is good. Take care, Bob
You're doing great, keep it up. :]
Gary~~ I know...LOL...but it's really a great book. Don't let the title throw you. There's another one: The Alcohol and Addiction Cure by Prentiss. He's the guy who founded "Passages" in Calif. I think.
Congratulations! Time for a celebration...
20 days is great keep it up.
Thank you for everything! Everything is pretty good for now. I don't know if you know whole story but will fill you in later. Have a grand day & talk to you soon sweetie~
You deserve a big bear hug! You are very sweet. Thanks again & I hope you feel better too.
Hey Gary, how's it goin'? You still breakin' necks and cashing checks? It's kind of funny, you look at quiting pills as a war to be won and when I finally decided to quit screwing around and quit for real I looked at pills as a bad employee that just had to be fired. Damn things were ruining me and my business. Anyway keep doing what you're doing, it's seems to be working well. Later, Bob
Hey, you're going to hear the "get outside help" "pursue aftercare" yada, yada, yada a lot. This website is my aftercare too. I'm not doing the 12 steps, going to N/A or seeing a therapist. I think some of us do have the mental fortitude to handle sobriety by working on it everyday and using this forum. We're a lot alike you and I, at least I think so. I'm 44 and I've "partied" since I was a young kid. I bet you did too. I turned 18 back in 84' right when the Metal scene was taking off. I bought a black and gold Turbo Trans-Am when I was 19. My right hand was constantly doing the Dio Rock Horns. lol..
Be cool, Bob
Congratulations! Time for a celebration...Welcome to the forum 8 days that is great. This is my second try and almost 3 months in a few days. Stay strong
