Has anyone figured out the cause of this "purring sensation" which occurs during sleep?  I saw your post years ago and am trying to get answers as I have this every night! All cardiac workups are normal, just like everyone else who's posted.  Any answers????

Hi.  I read your 2001 posting about tremors and have had very similar symptoms after having had atrial fibrillation.  Did you ever get to the bottom of your symptoms and did they ever get better?
would be good to hear yuor experiences

Hey Arthur.
I have the SAME MYSTERIOUS SYMPTOMS!
No one really get's it.
It's totally physical....
NOT mental!
It feels like a silent "humming" inside the body
Mine started after I got deathly ill...and for two years it was very intense..esp at night...
Thankfully, it is very rare now, and very mild when it does happen.
