You just can't help it can you? Let me point out something to you and if you had any decency, which I know you don't, you would apologize. The original poster is a Christian. You help to her has been to call her a crazy lunatic. Your 'sorry' is fake since you couldn't refrain from getting in another dig. Typical. You have become what you hate.
Happy Halloween! Hey girl, I saw you on here, looked back to see when we first "talked" and it was 2008, lol. Sounds like the tx is working for you, hallelujah! Lapis
IInterferon Lambda IL29 is a new interferon developed by Zymogenetics which is now owned by Bristol Myers-Squib. It was designed to have very few side effects. For me during my 6 months of treatment I had very few side effects.
Hi, thanks for the note. It is my best friend that is sick and the doc says that she will never improve. She has advance liver failure and she also had delirium about 90% of the time. She is in her bed at all times. I hope that all people that read this that have hep c will try to stick to the meds. I can imagine that it would be hard but it can help if taken in early stages. Take care and be healthy
Have you conulted any liver specialist now ???? keeping HCV in body for longer times is very harmful normally. i have heared that in many cases of HCV ( more than 50%) dont even have any symptoms at all and their liver enzymes are also normal but hCV's demage continues and become evident suddenly. Dont be afraid that you may not get cleared, i told you i have a friend who WAS untypeable and even with standard interferone ( non peg) he has cleared it in 12 weeks and now completing rest of tx. Doc said if he use peg-interferone then his chances will be more bright but in our part of world peg interferone is very costly and here is no concept of medical insurance etc so he took standard interferone. Dont be afraid and just check with any liver specialist.
Hi... How r u ? just seen your post in which you have told that you are un-type able and may never get rid of it ..... is there any theory or research that un-typeable never get rid of it??? Its really shocking ...
I have a friend ( met him at doc office) who also is un-typeable and is on tx ( standard interferone (Non-peg) + Riba) and he is UND after 12 weeks... Doc considering to restrict his tx for 24 weeks ... whats your doc suggestion???
I didn't really need help, well I did, I just left the guy, married my high school boyfriend, who I have since left and am married to a wonderful man with two beautiful girls I just walked away--I only shot up coke never touched herion nor would I ever, my 16 year old just lost a friend a year ago, poor parents found him dead with a needle in his arm waking him up for school
I snorted alot after that and still do occassionally--I know I have to quit eventually--i go back to the doctor Dec 23 to start my treatment--have a sonagram tomorrow where you from if you don't mind me asking? It actually really helps to talk to you
Hope your feeling better. I've got a REALLY great gigantic note to send you in response to your 30-40 years and "sad" post - but it "exceeds 8000 chars." (that's only 100 lines.) How can I send it? kennyf27 I am ms_refugee***@**** if you prefer to start there and you can explain to me perhaps how does one follow a thread? OK? Thx.
yeah, your on the right track by my name but it was more than once, but only once with a used needle, the rest were always brand new--just one time!! I imagine thats how I got it because I found out that the man I was dating just finished treatment and he had shot up for years before I met him, I know I have to quit beating myself up over it, but it just seems so real right now and is bringing back alot of ugly years in my life. I am such a different person now and that was 19 years ago!!
thanks for your ongoing support.
How long have you had it now? How old are you? M or F?
I didn't see your one note and if I did and did answer you I'm sorry, my mind is cluttered!! I am 37 years old mother of two wonderful little girls, contracted the virus at 18 I am assuming, my doctor has just been watching me since 1994 when it was accidently found in other blood work, so he isn't jumping to put me on treatment. I had my biopsy 7 years ago, I am having a sonogram on the 15th, it was up to me whether to have another biopsy or not and so far I am chosing not to, I hated that. I just want rid of the virus at this point in my life. I know its not going to be easy, but it has been working on my mind way to much!
How old are you?
with my quanatative going up over 294,000 in one year I dont think I should wait and my doctor told me that genotype 1 is the hardest to get rid of and I will be on treatment for one year, if I had 2 or 3 he said it would only be 6 months
just got my results, genotype is 1A
my quanatative went up by 293349 in one years time
so they want to take tx for 1 year!!!
My biopsy was 7 years ago and it revealed I was a one, I am almost positive I aquired it at age 18 or so and I am now 37.
I just want rid of it, I am becoming very fatigued lately and my doctor feels it is time to just try and get rid of it. I think I should too, because it is always on my mind. My husband is being very supportive thank goodness. I just hope I can work thru the treatment.
Hi Could you tell me if your Doctor takes Medicade? I can't see Dr. Cecil in Kentucky cause he doesn't take NJ Medicade? I need another doctor, some-one who CARES enough to help...Thanks Cathy
i am new here and have questions and stuff....i liked your answers. thank you
I did not want to "step' all over medicmommy's post....
If you read my profile you will get your answers.
I would treat again to get rid of this disease. I hate it. I only contracted it about 3 years ago and have no damage and I want to keep it that way.
I to want to enjoy life both quality and quantity. I want to continue to work out, swim, travel, have wine with dinner and do all I can. I do not need Hepc to inhibit my activities.
We all have different reasons for treating. We all have to make up our own mind.
I see halomommy is going thru that right now.
Just a quick note to say hi!
