Hi. You have answered a couple of my questions as a newly dx adhd 40yr old. You seem quite knowledgeable on the topic. I was wondering if you know of any forums that good and are more active than medhelp?

I agree for the most part, I just wish that more Christians were open to the idea of natural selection.

Just a quick note to say hi! sorry i never answered your message. things are not too good. my niece is bi polar manic depressive she added skitzo a while back. I know I did not spell that right. we had an argument the other day she told me if I made her move she woud see I was put in a nursing home. cause no one loved me anyway. she swears she never said that. she does that so I will think I am going crazy. but her grandson and her daughter were sitting there. they would take her side. she would promise them money. they would do anything. it has been such a long time I have had a day I can sit down and not worry about everything I said or did. she is worse that a bad marriage.

Just a quick note to say hi! Hi glad you wanted to accept my invitation. i love your garden. when my hubby was alive we always had a garden and i canned and froze up a lott of good food. i just got one year older i could do without that. mandy (Charlene}

Oh, the pic is beautiful! You have quite the way with pumpkins! My kids start back tomorrow and I'm in my deep mourning phase. Rough time of year for me. Everyone else celebrates but I feel very sad when they go back. Soccer has started and we switched to flag football--- less intense, more positive. :>) But both boys tried out and made swim team with a great club as well. We start stroke clinics in two weeks and then the team starts up in Oct. We'll see how it goes! Thanks for asking. Hope you are doing really well too!!

Sadness. Deer have found my pumpkin and watermelon plants. Grrrr. They are eating leaves and flowers off in large quantities. They haven't gotten the fruit yet but in two nights they have done serious damage. I sprayed some stuff on them to deter them, stinks! Boo to the deer. I know they gotta eat too wish they'd go next door for their next meal.

ha ha. Oh, I can't wait to see the pics! maybe you can rig up a wagon to carry it/them??? Good idea about the liquid fertilizer! I'll do that tomorrow. My boys were so excited when we all of a sudden saw real watermelons on the vines . . . one, then two then three and now lots of 'babies' still growing. Pretty cool! Your neighbors are going to be jealous of the pumpkins you have out front!! I'd tell you to take it to a contest but don't think you will be able to get it anywhere. LOL Instead of a spooky face you can do a whole spooky village on these massive pumpkins! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Exciting news! I went from thinking I had a one sex watermelon plant that wouldn't produce anything to having a bumper crop! We've eaten our first watermelon ... delicious and have 3 more that are almost ready to eat!! And I have one small pumpkin on the pumpkin plant . . . how big is your 'baby' now??

Yes, that certainly could or at least be a contributing factor. Memory loss is a biggie with thyroidectomies. I'm going to pm you with a few more side effects.

She has just turned 7 we have been looking for help since she was 5 as that when we relised on how bad her behavior was getting but I was told she couldnt be assessed untill she was 6 as she was to young... Reading all this is making a lot of sence on how my daughter is... I've got a cams appointment on the 26/4 and waiting on the last part of her assessment...

I've just reading more on the sites u posted is it possible for a child to have ADHD and ODD as both of them are how my daughter is and if yes what are the chances of her learning to control her behavior like my son is? XXx

My boy plays football, he's really good, it has helped him in sharing with other and work on his anger, they have said if he carrys on the way he is then they will sign him up nxt year.. he has always wanted to be a football player so this has been a really good starting point in proving his behavior... My daughter on the other hand we find it hard for her to join any as they cannot control her behavior and she ends up getting sent home...
