GREAT NEWS! So happy for you, you give us hope
I have just finished tx and wanted to thank you for your support, at 27 weeks I am UND and blood work all very close to normal
Thank you so much for your reply to my post (Stage 4 - to treat or not too treat ?) I saw the segment on CBS and your story was very inspiring, especially seeing you at the wheel of a sailboat ! Thank you for your encouragement and support.
Thanks, Eric. So grateful to have received the meds I did in the trial, so grateful to be clear! I appreciate your note. Lapis
Happy Holidays! Hi and happy holidays Eric
I am doing pretty well, I think. Last biopsy shows little progression since EOT. Waiting for PI drugs like thousands of others, but I am enjoying life, as I think you are also. I hope so. Good sailing!
Thanks for the music directional, I look forward to listening. Hope all is well with you.
Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for the music posts. They always make me reminiscent of the great gift. From your pic, you look great! I hope it is a current picture. - Thanks
Thank you for the well wishes, I appreciate it. I am looking forward to next summer and being free of the virus while catching some waves on my surf kayak. In the meantime, hope to remain well enough to get out in my long boat. I see that you are a fellow kayaker. Have you ever been to the Okeefenokee swamp? One of the most primordial and beautiful places that I've ever paddled.
Have a great day,
I did not read everyones remarks...But I will now...I think everyone should be excited...I now find myself (recently diognoised stage 0 grade 2) telling associates to get tested and about a new cure comming soon. I tell them because I know they have drug and booze problems, some look yellow and some lool pregnant...Some say they probally do have it.. I dont have a booze problem and I dont do drugs, but I have paradontal diease (gums bleed ) and my hubby used my toothbrush just before I did a billion times while I was showering, he had paradontal disease ./ I later learned he knew he had hep C... I think anyone who goes to a doc, dentist, the service, or has transfers of blood, blood products or gets in bloody fights. can get hep C...So alot more people than we think will have hep C
Ive been following the vetex ambasidor thing..I think what you ,milked and others are doing is wonderfull, loving and Im proud of you guys...I think every one should be tested, treated and cured...Keep up the fantastic work, and dont let anyone get ya down...Remarkable Gingert
Can you let me know the exact dates when you will be where. I might be able to work it out, just gotta figure out about the Greece thing. My mom's best friend has been quite ill, and I want to go and see her. She is very very dear to me, one of the people I love most.
I'm doing really good. I hope you had a great time!
It doesn't look like I'll be able to meet up in Italy or Spain, as I might have to go to Greece. Lets see, it would be so good to meet up. Let's email. Hugs to you two!
Hey Eric, are you back in the US?
Hi :) I need your experience with Telaprevir, could you pls add me as a friend. I'm planning to start treatment when it becomes available and need some advice. Thanks DragonHater
Thanks Eric, great hearing from you and glad to know there're still more happy days to look forward to. Sometimes I still feel the psychological effects of tx lingering or maybe it has become part of me. I've lost a large part of my social life and trust from treatment, but not all is lost.
Just a quick note to say hi! Hope your doing well too!!!! Its a wonderful feeling to be healthy!!!
I wish you a really good trip! Lets see if we can arrange to meet up in Italy. I'll have to wait until we get home to figure it out. We're still in Indonesia. Lets keep in touch by email. Hugs to you both.
The trip was a real trip for sure. From disasterous tickets to cancelled flights. We never even went up to Times Square/Central Park. We ended up in SoHo, Greenwich and little Itlay. Loved it!!!!! Coulda used you as a tour guide tho. I still have blisters. But it was prob the best NY trip yet.
Thank you Eric! I will always remember Frost's quote: And miles to go before I sleep and miles to go before I sleep!
Software devoloper with diminished cognitive abilities? I can relate to that, to the bike, to the scuba, to the 40+ yrs with hcv, to the multiple attempts at tx and to the senior mgnt!!!! Glad you found telaprevir! I'm currently doing boceprevir and have been und since 2wks after start the bocep. How long have you been SVR?
Please tell me all of those oil stains didn’t come from the Bike LOL
Welcome back =)...I just sent ya an email.
Sending ya'll holiday (((hugs))) Hope ya get them....I'll call to confirm! All the best to y'all! Isobella
Hey Eric! Hope you're not blocked! Maybe the servers are wonky. Didn't get a chance to check out the restaurant you suggested. Never got above 14th street and was only in NYC for 2 days! Be well, my friend.
Sounds good.... I'm sure it was worth every penny!
Just a quick note to say hi My Lord, it is Lithgow. I'm a fan. Thankx it was driving me nuttts because I couldn't put a name with the face.
Just a quick note to say hi! LOL. I didn't know the forum had truffles...hows the weather in Florida? Been cold and wet here, bays are choppy and it snowed on us at Matagorda Bay. It was awesome. Pretty big red fish kill though .,.take care; when this front passes I'll be back to the fishing grounds.
Just a quick note to say hi & Merry Christmas-love the boat-who was steering it? Hope all is well. Frank
l"m happy too!!! Hope you are well. I saw you online tonight and tried to get my camera set up (back on my old laptop) by the time I got it figured out, you were gone, lol! Maybe next time. Take care, Iz
Just a quick note to say hi thank you for the friendship invitation and the kind words. I'm a fishing guide and when I'm working the Sxs diminish. When I was land locked I got so depressed but once I found out the Sxs are for real I said I won't die sitting in my chair brooding anymore and forced myself to get back in the Sunlight! So many people clear the Sxs-some of us never will. At least we are alive! I know it sounds redundant but what doesn't kill us makes us stronger
if we never give up-right? Best wishes to you and yours my new friend, Frank
