You deserve a big bear hug! Thanks for the congrats. I'm gonna celebrate by cooking a nice dinner for my family tonight. Having cake and ice cream too! I tried to celebrate last weekend, when we got someone to watch the kids for the weekend. Celebrated with a few drinks and a night on the town. Got home at daybreak! I sure don't remember feeling that bad the next day when I was in my 20s and laid out all night like that. lol. I won't be celebrating quite like that anytime soon. Hangovers hurt more than they used to. Hey, that's a song, but it's true. And I didn't drink but about 4 or 5 drinks. Just not used to getting home and going to bed when it's time for me to get up. lol
Just a quick note to say hi!
I'm Christine; married 38 years, daughter 37, son 35.
If you find a way to deal with your FM & RA with diet etc I would love to know. I've spent most of my afternoon at the hospital with a consultant who confirmed the same diagnosis in me (FM & RA).
How long have you had your condition? How do you cope? Does it stop you doing much or have your learned ways to adapt?
All the best Christine
