ive already left you a message . Can you try and get back with me . I'm afraid I'm bleeding from peptic ulcer or that my crohns is flaring , and possibly having another blockage ..thank you
I've had crohns for alittle over 10 years . to give alittle history . I've haf a resection , heart failure , blood transfusions, due to peptic ulcer desease , I've had a volvolus , 3 bowel obstructions , gallbladder removed , hysterectomy ,hospital stays every year lasting over a month or more , but , try to avoid hosp because I'm afraid my problem isn't warranted in some twisted way to be there. So , at this moment , I've had severe pain in my lower back and my lower abdomen , It has gotten so bad . I awaken sometimes , during the night from extreme pain . Finally , , I just have a unwell feeling .Can you possibly give me your opinion on as to what I possibly should do . I would be very grateful fo any advise you can give me . Thank you !
Hi, I saw where you answered a patient on medhelp. My daughter has been having severe nausea and has now developed this upper left just under rib cage sharp pain. Occurs every 30 seconds after she eats, for about an hour. Doesn't do this every time she eats. Has severe nausea in mornings primarily. Nausea all day at school, goes away about 5:00 in any case, at school or home. Nausea is stronger after eat. It is worse when wakes up, alleviates in shower, gets worse for a little bit after eat. Seems to be a little bit different every day.
I had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago. I feel like I still have gallbladder attacks because my stomach gets pains in them and wont go away for about 20 minutes. Is it still possible to have gallbladder attacks although you have no gallbladder?
About 7 years ago I had severe swelling of my abdomin, an increase of about 10 inches overnight. An Xray and sonogram indicated an enlarged liver, spleen and pancreas, but no cause was indicated despite many efforts to be seen by a doctor, one of them told me that "if we do every test there is and cannot find a cause, what then?" Siince then I swell often and recently the discomfort and pain pushes my ribs out and sometimes there is spasming under my ribs - a grabbing pain - which sometimes hangs on for ten minutes and sometimes releases within seconds. I don't eat a lot because I can eat two mouthfuls and feel full. The other thing is that my mother starved to death and was told that it was neurological at age 71. She told me that she ate every day. Can you help with answers
Could you take a look at my post. I am very concerned that I may have a bleeding ulcer. I could really use some reassurance and some suggestions of what tests to ask my Gastro for based on my symptoms.
My mum had an operation and doctors removed her small intestine because they said its not working anymore.she only got 3 cm of it left. She is also suffering from blood clotting.I want to know if there is any chance of her getting a trasplant of her small intestine done anywher in world.I can pay any price for it i just want to know where isit possible.

Hello! im not sure if you still use this but hopefully you could help me with this. I was just checking about pancreatitis, and i found this forum which you commented in. I had pancreatitis when i was really young- when i was like 9 years old. it was mild though. but at that time as a kid everything was harder for us. now im 18 years old. and ive research it more profoundly. But i was wondering, what causes pancreatitis? ive read a lot of people saying they got pancreatitis from a previous surgery which was somehow connected to the pancrea. Or by alcohol.
Ive never drank much acohol. and never went to surgery of any sort. hopefully never will. My doctors couldnt find the source of it and none of my relatives had ever had it, which makes it even weirder. hope you can help!
