Hi there! I hope you are doing well, just wanted to say hi
Hey lady! I don't visit as often as before, but it's great to see your name pop up when I do. Hope all is well in your world......
Dear Trish, I wanted to thank you for your support during my tx. You and I were both on R1626 at the same time back in 2008. You SVR'd I relapsed. This time I think I made it and wanted to thank you
Hey Chick! Thanks for the well wishes. Things aren't going the way I envisioned. But, we're gonna be ok. ***** right now, tho. I think of you often and wish you and the kids the best, always. (((HUGS))) Iz
Just a quick note to say hi! Fishing... Next summer.. It will be a hoot! Did Aaron pass on to you my email addy and last message, ....Mexico plans?
Always love your comments and insight
I just noticed ,something must have happened to the "add a friend" thingy
Just a quick note to say hi! ... It's an SVR for me with BMS790052 YES ! Perfect results in my trial group as of Sept 1st. 6 out of 6 with a SVR. Will let you know more when I get back in a month from fishing. Are you going to come out to the West Coast and Go sport fishing with Aaron and I when he comes back to N America from Bali? Take Care Pedro
What great shots of your vacation! Looks very isolated and scenic. Reminds me of our Bounday Waters Canoe Area and stretches of Lake Superior. Love the ruggedness! Great to hear you had a good time with your family. It seems harder and harder to find time for everyone to get together in one place, what with jobs, kids and all. Glad you could make it happen!
Thanks for the well wishes, Trish. I enjoyed reading the thread about ethics and participating in clinical trials. Brings back memories of shiitake mushrooms...ugh, lol!!! It's like I'm living my dream in my new career. I can only hope I advocate for my patients the way my nurse coordinator did for me. I certainly have a broader perspective then most at the very least. Dream on one hand, nightmare on the other until my daughter is done. We currently have an appt with my original hepa and one at my treating center. Then we'll decide who to go with. She'll start in November and be done in time to graduate from college in May. Sending big (((((HUGS))))) and lots of well wishes your way, friend! Always wishing you the best, Isobella
Thank you so very much for your support and encouragement to my recent post. Your advice and perspective means a lot to me. All the best to you !
After 2 weeks off the bike, that's what it felt like today. I had a very angry rash that I had no choice, but allow it to calm down. I'm very stubborn about giving up my rides since I enjoy it so much. My speed is down to about 17-18 mph, but just feels good to spin the legs, open the lungs and get some good exercise.
Hope you didn't mind the hockey jab, but that door was so wide open, couldn't resist. Hope you're doing well. :o)
I wanna be SVR like you! So happy for you. It must feel wonderful!
Thanks for the chuckle! I'm so dang happy about Incivek. (will we ever get used to that name?) I was sobbing reading the releases. I can't wait for my fam to be done with this stinkin' virus. And I start my first job as a nurse tomorrow. Research, here I come!! I hope things are going well for you. I'll forever be grateful for your friendship...especially during those first days of our trials. It was the best of times, it was the WORST of times, lol!! But it sure helped to have good friends!!! Love, Iz

Oh yeah! Just got back home. Lamont Cranston, Virgil Cain and Mick Sterling and the Irresistibles - front and center - went from 7:30 pm to 1 am - all for 12.00. Touted as a warm up for the big blues festival in the summer. Hope it's repeated next year. A night to remember! Have you seen them in Canada?

All of you guys on here ahve been so awsome so far and it was truely a God send that I happend to stumble across this sight when I was doing resurch on Hep C. I'll post tomorrow after my apt to tell how it goes.
Thanks Trish! I don't post much as I am unsure of my inforamtion but if it's something I experienced I am more comfortable. I wouldn't have gotten through treatment without the support and information from this board.
Thank you Trish - I'm still doing well here, still UND. Just been so busy I haven't been online very much, but I appreciate the kind words
Thanks, Trish. It's one of Dylan's that I wasn't familiar with and it's quickly become a fave, both with the global connection and, of course, a personal one, healthwise. My folks are close to your grandfather in age and are living those words too. Good examples for us............Pam
Just a quick note to say hi! got 3 minutes left. so Hiiiii Trish and bye. Darn this is so limited ttyl. gin
Why won't you just let me DIE ;)
"Do not let the things you cannot do keep you from doing the things you CAN do." Wiser words were never said. Now that I'm getting older, feet, legs and other parts of my body are giving out, I live those words.
Thanks for the thoughtful note. We can Look forward to getting on the bikes in the nice weather. vroom!
Just a passing Howdy to you!
Hi Trish, we were on the same trial back in 2008, not sure if you will remember me however wanted to say I have been reading the posts on the effect HCV or tx has on the brain. They are very interesting.
I am so glad that you are SVR. I thought I would be as well however I can see that I had more damage to my liver so I probably never had a chance on the R1626 I was pulled off at week 43, always thought that if I had continued to week 48 it might have made a difference, I guess not. That does give me some comfort, now on to supplements for my brain :)
I always learn from your posts. Thank you
